The Kashmere Stage Band - Zero Point [P-Vine Japan]

The Kashmere Stage Band was formed in Texas by students of Kashmere High School’s outstanding music division under the direction of Conrad O. Johnson. They recorded several albums that were only sold locally and in limited quantities, so now P-VIBE is initiating a much-needed reissue series. Zero Point was released in 1972, right in the middle of the band's activity, which spanned from the early 60s to the late 70s. It’s an energetic jazz-funk fusion, complete with powerful echoed vocals and fuzzed-out guitars.
