25 years of perpetual, subtle, and occasionally delirious exercises in composition, recording, and production culminate in the first and simultaneously last album titled "Asphalt", from the world of Rico Puestel's childhood pseudonym: "Tetzlaff".

"Asphalt" tells genuine stories about mobility and industrialization, freedom and limits, about the reciprocity between humanity and technology within the tension between past, present, and future. Under its retro, nostalgic, and somehow timeless electronic charm, the album draws inspiration from diverse currents, questions, and approaches ranging from philosophy to different branches of science, shaping this creative monument of long breath.

After countless artistic and technical trials, the production—carried out entirely in analogue—went through an emotional roller coaster during its development, marked by opposite poles of magical moments and discouraging setbacks, accompanied by the fear of not being able to conclude what was once started with the desire to become reality.

Years and years of tireless searching for the right equipment and configurations for this miniature album to sound as it should never lost sight of the central aspect: a perceptible and pure narrative. Each song, however intimate, neat, or even predictable it might seem, was meticulously designed moment by moment, second by second, byte by byte; reviewed hundreds of times, discarded and recreated, disassembled and reassembled.

"Asphalt" appears and bids farewell as a conceptual and musical unicum that claims its self-sufficient destiny through an infinite circularity of endings and new beginnings...
