Tal Fussman - Walking On Mars EP [Rekids]

Berlin-based Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the ‘Walking on Mars’ EP, due for release on November 7th, 2025. The release follows his recent album for Binh’s Time Passages, as well as his ‘Definition’ (2024) and ‘I Feel’ (2025) EPs on Rekids, with Fussman’s refreshed take on classic house and techno earning support from the likes of Raresh, Cromby, DVS1, Saoirse, Carista, Honey Dijon and many more.

The ‘Walking on Mars’ EP opens with ‘Crystallized’, a 12” exclusive cavernous cut, with Tal Fussman stripping back his signature percussive approach in favour of a rolling groove set against a deep and atmospheric backdrop. This is followed by ‘Who’s Who?’, where wild sequences and off-kilter drum lines collide in restless motion. The EP’s title track, ‘Walking on Mars’, moves forward driven by punchy drums that gradually unfold into a soulful house melody, setting the stage for ‘Knowledge < Machine’, a sharp electro closer, with winding synths and a perfectly measured robotic vocal.

Fussman’s versatility shines throughout the EP, which has already garnered support from Antal, Rene Wise, Marcel Dettmann, and Fred P. Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids launched the techno-focused Rekids Special Projects line in 2017 and, in 2024, its most recent sub-label, REK’D. With Matt Edwards solely responsible for A&R, Rekids has been key in developing emerging artists and continues to be a trusted home for house and related sounds, with recent releases from names like Hilit Kolet, Frankey & Sandrino, Mathias Kaden, Huxley and many more.
