Swayzak's role in the consolidation of minimal makes them one of the greats of the scene. Their meticulously curated discography is full of gems, many of them hard to find and quite expensive. That has long been the case for this EP, originally from 1998, which is now reissued by Rawax's back catalog experts.

"Lokal" has it all across 11 immersive minutes: from precise, looping drum programming that floats over the track, to ethereal, synthetic melodies alongside constantly moving synth hooks. "Yardarm" is another majestic minimal symphony, though this one hits a little harder and may well be the better of the two for it. It's a perfect blend of dreamy mental escapism and irresistible body music for the deepest hours of the morning.
