Tresor Records is fortunate to have a catalog of historic releases that no other electronic music label would turn down. Three of the most outstanding pieces in this collection were contributed by Surgeon: "Basictonalvocabulary", "Balance", and "Force + Form", released between 1997 and 1999.

Surgeon's unmistakable combination of Detroit techno and post-industrial sounds, originating from his native UK, found one of its most complete expressions in this masterful trio of releases.

Following the release of Surgeon's first album in five years, "Crash Recoil", in early 2023, Tresor Records decided it was time to re-release these fundamental records.
