Suncream - Laguna Azur EP [With Pleasure]

Our first contemporary reference on Avec Plaisir features a stunning collaboration between Munich's Ly Nguyen and Super Sound Global's Nic Jalusi. We discovered Laguna Azur years ago through our friend Pia, and since then, it has been a constant presence in our sets, generating an almost absurd number of ID-requests from audiences across Europe. So when Ly and Nic agreed to work together on a physical release, we knew it would be something special.

While the Original Laguna Azur Mix transports you on a scooter ride to a beach bar in the 90s—denim jackets, cocktail umbrellas, and the whole vibe—Jalusi's Acid Dub is already igniting the party: the dubby bass drops just as we want to dance until sunset, seeing smiles everywhere and hair disheveled by the evening breeze. 2 AM – Was it Hazme Soñar, Sueño Latino, or the Balearic Eric & Nic Jalusi Dream House Mix? A sea of hands rises when those piano chords burst in after the break. You just want to dive into the ocean one more time and shake your drenched body on the sand-covered dance floor. A handful of friends stay on the beach just as dawn breaks, and at that instant, the hypnotic My Heart resonates, a leftfield dub where, lying on the shore, everyone's eyes turn that greenish-blue, like a mystical lagoon hidden in the palm jungle. A faint salty taste remains on the skin.
