Introducing a new remix EP series from Rosebay Music, aiming to connect the dots between soulful D&B and more diverse styles, tempos and scenes, with remixes from a carefully selected host of artists reinterpreting catalogue tracks in fresh and unexpected ways.

Detroit’s Kyle Hall has been one of the city’s foremost ambassadors of soulful and raw house and techno for the last 15 years. Here he teams up with instrumentalist Ian Fink to deliver a deep and raw Detroit house classic in his remix of Submorphics - Blastoff. This unexpected collaboration between Kyle Hall and Submorphics represents a rare joining of forces between two Detroit born artists who have both widely represented their city’s aesthetic in their respective scenes.

Noodles142 is the fresh alias from D&B star Satl, creating fresh bangers that fuse UKG, techno, dubstep and bass music in a way that is both classic and futuristic. Here he transforms Submorphics - Hey Baby into a deep, dark, and dubby 140 bpm track, paying homage to the nocturnal rawness of Detroit.

Primitive Instinct has quickly become one of the most promising names in D&B, representing Bristol with ultramodern production, swinging drums, beautiful synth work and awesome vocal sample manipulation. His standout EP on The North Quarter convinced Rosebay to have him remix Submorphics - Cinerama, resulting in a truly infectious dancefloor weapon.

The final remix comes from Trail, one of 1985 Music’s current stars. Representing the Toulouse D&B scene for the past few years, Trail has a unique talent for melody, harmony, and groove that sets him apart from other modern liquid artists. Here he transforms Submorphics, Zar & aya dia – “Another Level Of Love” into a psychedelic and experimental track.
