Sublee - Personal Universal [Hubble Recordings]

Hubble Recordings, the Lisbon-based label, unveils its sixth release to date, staying true to its focus on single-artist EPs, following brilliant offerings from Kaesar, Costin RP, Miroloja, Octave, and Alex Pervukhin.

This time it's the turn of Sublee, alias Stefan Nicu, a key figure in tech house whose impulsive flight schedule remains as active as ever—on this occasion, with a stopover from distant Romania.

Following a string of both digital and vinyl releases, ‘Personal Universal’ serves as the pendular follow-up to his 2024 Rawax debut, ‘Simple Two’. The EP's title track offers an intense doubled vocal cantata over a fervent acid construction, while ‘Simple One’ and ‘Laculesdesample’ deliver twitchy synth bass and unconventional percussion.
