Steve Bug & Cle - It Just Happened EP [Nu Groove]

Two long-standing electronic legends, Steve Bug reunites with frequent collaborator Cle for the three-track 'It Just Happened' EP on Nu Groove. The German trendsetter and Poker Flat label head has helped define a plethora of electronic subgenres through his boundary-pushing releases and extensive DJ sets. From his early LPs 'Volksworld' and 'Da Minimal Funk', to later works like 'Traffic Signs' and 'Never Ending Winding Roads', Bug’s forward-thinking vision is evident throughout his experimental output. Joining forces once again with Cle, another veteran of the German rave scene, the pair return to the cult NYC imprint with three impactful originals following their previous release 'Let It Go / Suitcase In A Box'. The EP’s title track, 'It Just Happened', features whispering synths and acid loops that evoke an era of underground house, immediately nostalgic yet advanced in its technique. 'Crew Thing' and 'House Music Transcends' follow suit, both brimming with energy as the two producers showcase their unique creative process through sound.
