Does this track really need an introduction? Since its original release on London-based Dee Jay Recordings in 1995, Babylon is one of those rare productions that never seem to age.

Andy C, founder of the iconic Ram Records label and considered by many to be the most in-demand drum & bass DJ in the world, has cited Babylon as one of his all-time favorite tracks. In fact, he continues to frequently include the track in his sets, even 27 years after its original release.

Over the years, this genre-defining track has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the scene: Dillinja, Trace, Bladerunner, DJ SS, and Ray Keith, the latter two included in this stunning picture disc reissue, carefully remastered.

The success of this track made Splash, also known as Undercover Agent, one of the most sought-after names in jungle and drum & bass, and it was the starting point from which he launched his own labels, Juice and Splash Recordings.

The artwork for this picture disc has been reproduced with kind permission from the original Babylon sleeve design on Dee Jay Recordings, and proudly includes the Dee Jay Recordings and Juice Recordings logos.

Alongside the coveted classic remixes by Ray Keith and DJ SS, the release includes two brand new, previously unreleased versions.

Ego Trippin, a very active DJ in today's drum & bass scene, and who in his early days was one of the first artists signed by the Juice / Splash labels, gives new life to this classic. His 2022 remix retains all the essence of the original, adding renewed energy for today's dancefloors.

For his part, Deadly Silence – a new artist personally discovered by Splash – provides a fresh and exclusive reinterpretation of this legendary track, adding another unreleased gem to this incredible release.
