Space Dimension Controller - Acid Sampler [Running Back]

The follow-up to the first Acid Sampler is now in the hands of a single artist. Space Dimension Controller does Running Back the honor of leaving his footprints on the (usually) silver box, and it's a match made in heaven. The Irish man's music is mostly a nod to the subtle and more delicate offshoots of electronic music. His Acid Sampler is no exception. Most of the EP presents itself as an homage to the vibe of acid house music rooted in cerebral dancing. By leaving aside the harder and faster styles of the genre, SDC manages to pour his heart and soul as a producer into these four charming tracks.

Kosmische Conga functions as the group leader, pirouetting with memorable hooks, synth surges, and descending acid lines. Echopet introverts the entire concept, while Minehead brings it to a climax. Named after the coastal town that hosted the Bloc Weekend festival, it's an undistorted romantic reflection of the cerebral dance vibe, or a heartfelt love song to circuits.
