Mexican brothers Soul Of Hex return to Delusions of Grandeur to deliver a true gem of an EP titled Constellation. With recent releases on Underground Resistance (under the alias Mano De Fuego) and an upcoming release on Kilometro 4.5 alongside Mad Mike Banks and Kuniyuki, it's clear that Soul Of Hex moves among big names and has earned the respect they deserve thanks to their talent, consistency, and hard work.

Opening the EP, we have Face Down, a real bombshell of a track with a devastating electric bassline, deep and relaxed dub disco drums, and twisted effects. Simple, powerful, and outrageously funky.

Next up is Constellation, raising the BPM for an explosive piece of soulful piano house featuring vocals from Javonntte and Mariana Phelts. Far from being a simple retro homage, Soul Of Hex manages to create a fresh and original disco-influenced house proposal, full of good vibes, while tipping their hat to the master OG Marshall Jefferson.

Then comes Dimension Spell, bringing a full load of funk thanks to More Lotion's powerful guitar work. Euphoric synth pads add depth, while minimalist beats and a forceful Moog bassline guarantee maximum pressure on the dance floor.

Closing this brilliant EP, we find Into The Night, a beast of a track that bubbles with subtle energy thanks to its minimalist and enveloping groove. Syncopated Rhodes stabs glide between disco drums, while a repetitive vocal sample provides that irresistible earworm hook.
