SNECKER is the musical union of German Panorama Bar resident DJ nd_baumecker and American musician and artist Snax. An initial foray into making an unauthorized remix of a Lady Gaga song led to weekly meetings at Baumecker's studio on the legendary Berghain nightclub campus. Sessions stretched for hours as Baumecker experimented with his extensive array of equipment, Snax jumped from keyboard to keyboard, and everything was recorded. At Snax's studio in another part of the city, arrangements were solidified and vocals added. Soon, files upon files of immersive, psychedelic, and catchy music accumulated on hard drives, and after Snecker's first release on Vienna's Freeride Millenium label and a track on Permanent Vacation's eighth compilation, the boys now present the "How To Dream" EP on Permanent Vacation. Four tracks (and some tools for creative DJs to be found on the vinyl version), filled with blends of House, Boogie, and Disco that only a duo with a long creative history can deliver.
