Slumber - Twin Moon EP [Rumors]

Guy Gerber’s Rumors imprint enlists Öona Dahl and Amber Cox, also known as Slumber, to deliver a dose of psychedelic house on the ‘Twin Moon’ EP this May.

Slumber’s previous productions on labels such as Nervous, Viva Recordings, and Desert Hearts have showcased their otherworldly, dreamy sound, and this debut on Gerber’s label displays the most outstanding accomplishment of their intoxicating aesthetic to date.

Throughout the release, the duo proves their talent for crafting hypnotic and captivating tracks. From the melancholic, muted vocals on ‘Envoke’ to the shimmering closing cut ‘Twin Moon,’ subtle atmospheres, soft tones, and thoughtful production take center stage, guiding the listener through their delicate sound.

Öona Dahl’s solo work has taken her to labels like Watergate, All Day I Dream, and DJ Three’s Hallucienda, while San Francisco-based Amber Cox has featured on Motek Music and Occultists. Since 2009, both have been involved with Slumber, a project that began in Florida out of a shared passion for vivid electronic music.
