Germany's Rawax continues to do great work within the techno world with another smart reissue. This time it's Skymaster, an alias of British producer Mark Ambros, who originally released this EP in 1998 via Offshoot Records.

It has remained a highly respected 12", now remastered for this edition, and represents an excellent piece of late-90s underground history. 'Shooting Stars' opens with big, muscular grooves, full of texture and a visceral energy. 'Final Link' brings a wilder vibe with its undulating synths, while the closer, 'Visions', delves into a deep, dubby, bubbling sound, imbued with a subtle melodic warmth.
