Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, the mighty Cécille Records has returned, and it's back with its 2008 club hit 'Nesrib,' which launched the career of label stalwart SIS and is now catapulted into the present with a remix from Fuse hero Archie Hamilton.

Founded in 2007 by Nick Curly and Marc Scholl, Cécille quickly became a reliable and consistent purveyor of deep tech-influenced music. With its reputation for unsurpassed quality, Cécille attracted a wealth of talent, most notably SIS. The origin story of the German-born Burak Sur is perennial. Caught by DJ Karotte's beats at Frankfurt's U60 club one night, he decided dance music was his life's mission and started to plan his future. Already an accomplished rock drummer, he learned to DJ and produce by age 21, dropping his first tracks in 2006.

'Nesrib' catapulted SIS into a furious 4-year musical journey that saw him win multiple awards like 'Track of the Year,' 'Producer of the Year,' and 'Breakthrough Artist of the Year' in the music press. Still performing at clubs and festivals today, SIS has honed his hybrid live DJ show, which continues to take him all over the world.

For his remix, Archie Hamilton has delved into his roots to transform SIS's original, uneven minimal techno vibe into a fully formed tech monster. Aquatic effects and scattered percussion open the track before that massive roaring bass takes things up a notch. Carefully controlling the vocal snippets, Hamilton sculpts a muscular groove before unleashing Williams' diva lyrics.
