Shingo Suwa - Seishin [Acid Camp Records]

"Seishin" is a precise and focused four-track EP from Japanese-born, Berlin-based producer Shingo Suwa, released on Acid Camp. The title translates to "spirit," and the record approaches this idea both as a sensation and as a relay: an original transmission conceived during a time of quarantined isolation, followed by responses from trusted collaborators. Clay Wilson contributes two versions: one as a deep and tense exercise, and the other as a complementary take inspired by the legacy of Jasen Loveland (1980–2021). Jasen Loveland also worked on a remix of his own in 2021.

"Seishin" is not only about losing oneself; it's also about the resonance of spirit and memory, passed between friends, to find each other again.
