Shaka - A Paris State Of Mind (feat Vick Lavender mix) [Nutria Sounds]

Kai Alce’s NDATL Muzik imprint is one of our favourites when it comes to deep house, so imagine our joy at hearing that it’s now expanding with a new sub-label: Nutria Sounds.

Its debut release is a gem from Shaka, with soulful vocals from Eve capturing the essence of Paris via organic textures and alluring melodies. The main vocal version is full of jazzy chords and a free-flowing vibe, whilst “Unbleached” offers a more energetic take on deep house, with dancing keys and a weighty bottom end.

The always on-point Vick Lavender from Chicago also chips in with a signature jazz-laden remix that is refined but fully dancefloor-focused.

An excellent debut for Nutria Sounds, which promises to be another essential outlet for tasteful and soulful house music.
