Zel Zele is immensely proud to present the first reissue of a 1974 cult classic, written, produced and arranged by Anatolian rock pioneer Barış Manço, alongside his legendary band Kurtalan Ekspres. Sevil & Ayla's Bebek / Irgat is a sought-after Turkish folk and psychedelic single, performed by Yeşilçam stars Sevil & Ayla, during Anatolian rock’s golden era.

The A-side, Bebek, needs little introduction, being a rare gem amongst collectors and groove enthusiasts. The track’s strings and bass nod to Led Zeppelin’s iconic Whole Lotta Love groove, creating an instant connection. Sevil and Ayla’s haunting vocals add a melancholic twist, narrating the tragic tale of a mother driven mad by losing her baby to an eagle. On the flip, Irgat is an underrated groove with an incredible break and keyboard solo, ideal for keeping the dance floor moving.
