Scuba channels a timeless, euphoric energy in his Crosstown Rebels debut ‘GetUppp’. The Hotflush boss delivers two tracks built for the late-night hours, scheduled for release on November 21st, 2025.

Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels label welcomes electronic pioneer Scuba for his first appearance on the imprint with ‘GetUppp’, a two-track release that fuses the British artist’s trademark bass-heavy pressure with the euphoric pulse of house. The title track glides on sinuous percussion, interwoven with subtle soulful vocal inflections, building an irresistible groove that steadily ascends to a total release on the dancefloor. On the flip, ‘406 Dub’ delves deeper – a stripped-down, heads-down exercise that channels the tension and space of dub techno into something hypnotic, psychedelic and all-consuming.

A producer who has continually defied convention, Paul Rose, aka Scuba, has set the course for underground music for over two decades. From his formative role in the UK dubstep movement to his definitive SUB:STANCE residency at Berghain, he has evolved through techno, house and beyond, all while helming his influential Hotflush Recordings label, launching pad for artists like Mount Kimbie and Joy Orbison. He has also delivered critically acclaimed mixes for DJ Kicks, Fabric and Ostgut Ton, cementing his reputation as one of electronic music’s sharpest curators.

Following his acclaimed Digital Underground live tour throughout 2024, and his most recent run of headline shows across Asia with dates in Kyoto, Nagoya, Tokyo, Koh Phangan, Singapore, Danang, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing, Scuba returns with renewed energy on ‘GetUppp’ – a record that captures the visionary sound that has made him one of electronic underground’s most influential figures.
