Detroit born but now based in Thailand, Scott Hess returns to prove his unwavering Motor City class with Redlight Bangkok Vol. 3, the third installment of his vinyl-only series on the Adeen label.

The record opens with “En Bloom,” a Miami bass-inspired track with crisp kicks and cold 808s. Rocco Universal’s remix leans more towards deep house, with magnificent melodies that give it an enveloping touch. On the B-side, “Whitelight” takes a more twisted approach, with an elastic bassline and precise percussion. “Untitles” is a cosmic journey with a funk guitar and a dreamlike chorus, while the closing track is another version of “Untitles,” featuring soft and serene soundscapes, enveloping chords, and deep grooves, perfect for late-night listening.
