SCB - Loss… the Re-Up (Incl. Mr. G Remix) [Hotflush]

One of 2011's biggest tunes gets a relase on Hotflush with a fresh remix from legendary house DJ Mr. G.

Hotflush label boss Scuba was a dubstep exile in Berlin, throwing parties at Berghain in 2011, following the release of his landmark album Triangulation the previous year. The SCB project had been set up as a platform for his productions outside of the 140BPM realm, anticipating a stylistic move that would have a big impact on the wider dance scene.

Loss was released on Aus Music that March, ripping up dance floors globally and ending the year at #7 in RA's 'Top Tracks of 2011' list. In 2025, it retains the unique combination of minimalist elegance and trance power that made it so impactful all those years ago.

UK house master Mr. G contributes a signature remix: relentless in groove and structure, guaranteed to tear up the floor.

And to complete the package, an unreleased version of the original b-side, FutureUnknown, is included. The Voxattack appeared in numerous Scuba sets around the time and has garnered 'much sought after lost dub' status.
