Sasha & Jody Barr - Phaxon Incl. Einmusik Remixes [Last Night On Earth]

Sasha continues his impressive current streak with a new single on *Last Night On Earth* alongside Jody Barr.  
 
Electronic pioneer Sasha has enjoyed much success in his recent creative collaborations. The *Last Night On Earth* founder has worked with artists such as Super Flu and Sentre, as well as dropping a consistent stream of fresh solo sounds including *Florian Drift* and *How to Wear Raybans Well*. All of which cement his position at the forefront of the melodic house and techno scene with meticulously crafted sounds. On this occasion, he collaborates with Jody Barr, who has maintained a close relationship with the label as well as cementing himself with releases on *Krankbrother*, *Configurations Of Self* and *Nofitstate*. Jody heads up *Portable Minds* and is renowned for his robust hardware-focussed sound.  

*Phaxon* is a beautifully elegant affair, with shimmering chords rising and falling over a serene electronic groove. It’s packed full of clever sound design and subtle details that allow it to sparkle from start to finish, as emotions swell and wash over you in an enchanting dancefloor reverie.  

Hamburg’s Einmusik brings his refined techno sound that has graced his own self-titled imprint and platforms such as *Diynamic* and *Sincopat*. His take on *Phaxon* is more robust, with a darker atmosphere thanks to a gruff bassline rumbling in the depths. Whilst still retaining great chord work, the whole thing feels a little more straight ahead, ideal for peak time club moments.
