Sascha Funke & Niklas Wandt - Wismut [Multi Culti]

Multi Culti A&R initiative Sascha Funke & Niklas Wandt was introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the experienced Berlin-based producer and multi-faceted percussionist/vocalist. Wandt was about to burst onto the scene hard, with his collaborative 2xLP alongside Wolf Müller and debut single from his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icy cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, rubbed, and scraped percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These early efforts then expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached its destination: Wibe Strasse, Germany.
