25 has always been a mystical number in the world of Kiosk ID, woven into our history from the earliest days of Bar 25, Holzmarkt 25, and in every chapter since. When the clock struck midnight on December 31st last year and 2025 arrived, the magic of the number became undeniable, reverberating through Kater Blau, Holzmarkt, and Kiosk ID, and calling for a celebration unlike any other.

As our lasers lit up the night, two key Kiosk ID artists—Britta Arnold and Sascha Cawa—took to the decks, weaving a mesmerizing journey crafted specifically for this moment. After months of preparation, they unfurled a beautifully hypnotic tribute to the magic of 25, premiering five custom-made tracks in the process.

That moment now lives on as Kiosk ID no. 40: a special double LP that captures the magic of that night. Side A features the New Year's live recording: an unfiltered document of Britta and Sascha’s hypnotic, ethereal, and deeply danceable set, as it unfolded in real time, strobe-lit, giving way to the first moments of the new year.

Sides B, C, and D feature five exclusive studio originals, written and produced specifically for that night. In “Counting,” Britta and Sascha unfurl their signature stripped-down murkiness and rolling grooves, while “Reformer” holds itself in tense, suspended synth spirals. With “NGVMT,” the energy explodes: a luminous block-party-spirited roller, with throbbing staccato swagger and chiming arpeggios. “Beam” blasts off into pure cosmic wonder, with ethereal, shimmering themes spiralling skyward. “Good Life” closes out the credits with a beautifully introspective soliloquy, tender and thoughtful, swathed in soft washes of aspiring piano chords.
