Saint Paul - The Chosen One feat. Gledd Remix [Saint Wax]

Saint Paul has long proven to be an excellent curator of dusty beats within the deep house and disco spectrum. He is part of the Moonrise Hill Material collective and now lands on Saint Wax with his first release of the year. The Chosen One overflows with joy thanks to its bright chords and chopped vocals, while bouncy drums get you moving. Pour L’Amour Du G-Funk (69 La Trik) is a funk-filled jam, with hazy pads and energetic synths; then Bay Disco Orkestra adds a percussive twist and a retro disco vibe.

The trio of B-side cuts explores slower, more soulful deep house, along with jazzy grooves that overflow with musicality, while Gledd's remix brings a delightful Latin touch with a bouncy rhythm to Don’t Hold Back Da Groove.
