Saag - Void Searching EP [Modwerks]

Modwerks presents producer Saag with a spicy second round of floorshakers, all four tangentially inspired by Brazilian music. But make no mistake, as the grooves here remain firmly rooted in techno from start to finish. Puxa and Void Searching lead the charge with two unyielding states of techno: relentless walls of restless sound, reaching their peak in the hard-hitting drums and choppy chords heard at the end of the second track. Orie and Reverie further flesh out the textures, with the latter becoming especially generous with filters on the restless lead.
