What began as a nostalgic nod to Camden Market's bootleg culture has grown into the next chapter of the Running Back Mastermix series. At once deeply personal and overtly communal, it demonstrates how a lifetime of production can be condensed into 90 minutes without losing its edge: proof that the mixtape, even in 2025, still has stories to tell.

What followed was a patient excavation. Old DATs were rescued from the archive, forgotten files resurfaced from hard drives, and new material was written to sit alongside them.

Taken together, these fragments revealed a body of work stretching back over 25 years: tracks that move across the spectrum of house and techno, but share a common thread of character and atmosphere.

In May of this year, the archive finally found its form. Recorded live across three turntables using Serato, the resulting mix brings together 24 tracks—unreleased material from the past and brand new productions—all stitched into a continuous narrative. It is, in equal parts, a retrospective and a statement of intent; less a museum piece than a living document.
