Almost exactly 22 years ago, Portuguese house DJ Rui Da Silva and British singer Cassandra Fox released one of the most iconic progressive house tracks of all time: "Touch Me."

Officially released on January 1, 2001, it reached number one on the charts and became both the first Portuguese song and the first progressive house track to do so.

Combining elements of Eurodance and the characteristic club sounds of the turn of the millennium, this track could even be considered one of the drivers of the Eurodance resurgence that projects like Cascada would popularize later in the decade.

A true dancefloor classic that has stood the test of time, also accompanied by an extraordinary deep house cut on the B-side with the "Saffron Mix."
