For Fuse Imprint's eleventh release and their first of 2026, Rosati presents Divina Nostalgia, an ode to the vitality of dance music through four truly euphoric tracks. The Italian artist highlights the enduring power of vintage production, illuminating an optimistic facet of techno that often goes unnoticed, resulting in a sound as charismatic as it is electrifying.
“Division” sets the tone for the EP with playful percussion and brilliant synth work that progressively unfolds as the track develops. Rosati harnesses the full character of the 909 to generate the energy that drives the record: rides, claps, and open hi-hats rumble through the structure, celebrating each transition.
The artist then focuses on “Echoes,” adjusting the tension with a fully analog bass and lush pads that soften the more aggressive edges of the percussion. This is a more linear and direct approach; although the track opts for minimalism, it achieves maximum impact.
Gradually elevating the intensity, “Orbital” moves between tom-toms and filtered chords to emphasize the extroverted nature of the release. Synths shine over rolling drums in a track that possesses the temperament of house but the insistence of techno.
Finally, the EP's namesake track, “Divina Nostalgia,” closes the release in a moment of absolute liberation. If anyone wondered where jazz fits into this equation, they only need to listen to Rosati: organs, Rhodes, swing, and sustained tension run through the track, leading to a triumphant finale that highlights dance music's power to capture the present moment.
