Robert Hood - Alpha Key EP [M-Plant]

Following the special release of Robert Hood and Femi Kuti's jazz live set, Variations, Robert Hood presents his latest techno EP for M-Plant. This is his first solo work since the 2022 double single Hectic / Amazon Dust.

Although Robert Hood needs little introduction, with his project alongside his daughter Lyric, Floorplan, achieving great popularity and a new album on the way with Classic, we must not forget his legacy in techno. Throughout the 90s, he helped pave the way for the rise of techno, giving birth to minimalist techno with his seminal album Minimal Nation. Since then, he has continued to drive electronic music culture with groundbreaking productions, sensational performances, and his M-Plant label. His style is characterized by minimalist and experimental tones, with an imposing groove.

His Alpha Key EP includes four hard-hitting cuts with Hood's distinctive stamp, proving that, when it comes to techno, he remains a master of high rank.
