It’s been almost two years since Detroit deep house don Rick Wade debuted on Rawax Motor City Edition with the excellent Another Galaxy EP. Fortunately, we can report that this belated sequel is every bit as alluring as its predecessor. To prove the point, check flipside cut “Delicious”, where labyrinthine electric piano solos, spacey electronics and hazy, stellar chords unfurl over a bongo-laced deep house groove.

Wade switches towards a fusion of sci-fi techno and melancholic deep house on the equally impressive title track, “Mystic Tech”, before closing with another dose of electric-piano-driven deep house hedonism in “Nasty Night”.
