Rhano Burrell presents Bäs Noir - My Love Is Magic (Edits) [Nu Groove]

Vocal house duo Bäs Noir receives edits from British DJs Bushwacka! and Mark Broom on Nu Groove for their track 'My Love Is Magic'. Hailing from Philadelphia, the female duo consisting of Morie Bivens and the late Mary Ridley first released 'My Love Is Magic' as Bäs Noir in 1988, with production from Rhano Burrell, which went on to chart in the UK. Today the record remains a connoisseur's favourite, with Big Love label boss Seamus Haji playing the original at Defected Croatia in 2023. Influential British DJ and producer Bushwacka! now returns to legendary NYC label Nu Groove, following his four-track EP 'House Sounds Vol. 1', to highlight the percussive power of 'My Love Is Magic' with his distinctive piano bassline and modern synth work. Also returning to Nu Groove, seasoned DJ Mark Broom delivers an A-12 techno edit and house Dub Re-Touch remix of Bäs Noir's vocal house classic.
