Reboot - Red House EP [Cecille]

Reboot makes his highly anticipated return to Cécille with his three-track Red House EP, showcasing the German artist's signature percussive and groove-driven style.

For the past decade and a half, Reboot has been dropping his raw, hypnotic, and rhythmic house grooves on some of the most reputable labels in the business, including Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings, Luciano's Cadenza, Ricardo Villalobos' Sei Es Drum, Pleasure Zone, Rawax, and, of course, Cécille, where he returns with this EP following his Bako release in 2022. Reboot's extensive catalog leaves an indelible mark in this territory, and his musical history continues to lay down more tracks with his most recent works.

Ready To Flow kicks off the EP, immediately drawing us into Reboot's characteristic rhythm section with a smooth, refined bassline, further propelled by resonant flutters, choppy vocals, and tension-building sweeps. Next, Alicat embraces a deeper aesthetic, merging nebulous atmospheres, dynamic bass stabs, and loose organic percussion with bubbling synths, sung vocals, and saxophone licks.

Finally, the title track Red House closes out the EP, further capturing the essence of Reboot's distinctive style through intertwined samples, pulsing subs, and skipping percussion, all intricately processed and automated to create a dynamic dancefloor piece.
