Next up is an overdue reunion with a familiar face. After his outstanding contribution to Cocoon Compilation S and his first solo EP on Cocoon Recordings, Raxon returns with an equally mesmerizing sound. The Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based artist is back, delivering two tracks that will take you on a journey through the depths of robotic soundscapes.

Intricate beats, hypnotic synth melodies, deep bassline grooves and distinctive special effects sounds create Raxon's very special and characteristic sound.

Straightforward drum programming combined with squelchy percussions leads us far away to embark on a journey through space and time, while distinctive claps burst into a futuristic nebula of floating and shifting sequences. The twisted melody of "Robotalia" transports us to a parallel dimension of machine sound and if you listen closely, you can hear the robots' screws and saws. Distorted bleeps and mechanical effects complete the robotic feel. Raxon's understanding of structures and his architectural skills are reflected in the arrangement, slowly building up to ecstasy.

"Kryptonite" stands out with alien soundscapes. Choppy voices are the questions, while dramatic and futuristic chords are the direct answer. A straight and radiant sound appears like an electronic trombone from outer space, offensively supporting the driving bassline. The symbiotic interplay between the euphoric synth hook and the relentless beat with punchy hi-hats visualizes powerful images in the mind. Suddenly, the beat stalls and results in a head-turning, transformative break, developing a start-stop pitch shift effect that not only builds tremendous tension but also carries a heightened risk of melting your brain.
