Rainer Trueby - The Lost Tapes 2008 [Daybreakers]

DAYBREAKERS return after their first dive into the Music Station catalog and jump from New Jersey to land in the Black Forest region of Germany for 002, more specifically in a basement in Freiburg.

In 2008, Rainer Trüby began an album that ended up lost due to a damaged MacBook. Two tracks were saved from this lost album and see the light 17 years later. After playing one of these songs, Schoko-Bolla, in the forest during Root Down With Love at We Out Here 2024, Miche and Rainer decided it was finally time to officially release this secret weapon.

The A-side, Schoko-Bolla, features a Brazilian vocal loop from an all-time great, gently building up to a real groove. The B-side offers a deeper-than-deep house track, with Latin elements. House deeper than the Neckar River, perfect for any dance floor.
