Brazilian talent Rafael Cancian has gained recognition through his solid productions on tasteful labels such as Razor-N-Tape and Hot Pot Records. With that profile already established, he is now launching his own label, About Disco. He inaugurates it with a quartet of edits that he has already been testing to great effect on various dancefloors around the world. "Sounds Chicago" delivers with its raw drums and excellent keyboards dancing over the beats. "Ti Amo" has a funkier base and disco percussion, "D'Afrique" brings a funky bass riff back to the forefront accompanied by psychedelic sounds, and "Opera" closes with soulful, nocturnal synthesizers over intimate, minimalist house drums.
