The E-Beamz record label now presents 2 tracks from newcomers DJ Boring and Magma. DJ Boring's A-side lead track, "Winona," so named because it uses vocal samples from an interview with actress Winona Ryder, sounds like a lost cut from the early '90s: an ultra-deep delight filled with deep spatial chords, deep analog house beats, and psychedelic TB-303 abuse. Magma's dustier B-side, "You," explores similar old-school territory, using both sweeping techno drums and sweaty jungle breaks. With incredibly deep chords and riffs, and some eye-closing vocal samples, we have another late-night winner.
