Bushwacka! - House Sounds Vol.1 [Nu Groove]

Influential British DJ and producer Bushwacka breaks onto Nu Groove with a four-track EP titled 'House Sound Vol. 1', which showcases the touch of an expert. A member of the legendary rave group Rat Pack, Bushwacka's impact on the 90s underground scene was felt worldwide; together with fellow Brit Layo Paskin, they created hypnotic compositions that defined the sound of house and techno, merging both genres as the new millennium approached.

For this new venture on the influential New York label Nu Groove, Bushwacka draws on his unwavering knowledge of dancefloor culture. The opener, a tribute to the legendary label 'Strictly Nu', builds infectious loops with ease before delving into an enveloping club feel with the classic four-to-the-floor beat.

The subsequent tracks follow the same path, with 'Love Can You' and 'Right Now' showcasing the producer's distinctive dancefloor-oriented sound in full flow, while 'True For You' takes a more minimalist approach. With this new installment of originals, Bushwacka further reinforces his status as a genre-defining electronic innovator.
