Peven Everett - I Can’t Believe I Loved Her [King Street Sounds]

Chicago’s Peven Everett has long had a cult following thanks to his unique and live approach to House. He co-produced and sang vocals on Gabriel which was not only one of the most legendary soulful house tracks of the 90s, but it also helped define the two step/garage sound.

In 2002 he released ‘I Can’t Believe I Loved Her’ on the King Street Sounds sister label Nite Grooves, a soulful piece lamenting a failed love affair. The track went on to be a global hit and quickly reached classic status amongst DJs and dancers.

Both the Original and Calypso Mix are included on this special charity release, with proceeds being donated to Peven’s GoFundMe to assist with his lung cancer treatment. A must have!
