Synaptic Cliffs can barely contain the excitement for the release of the 4-track EP “Maximalism” where pdqb collaborates with DJ Sotofett in the most effective manner. pdqb’s sleek and melancholic electro originals carry a sexy 80's vibe, not too far from classic US electro disco pop. These meet with DJ Sotofett’s warehouse remixes, known for his top-tier electro productions on Clone and Tresor, as well as his focus on breakbeat funk, afro-dub, and everything house-related on his own labels Wania and Sex Tags Mania.

The remix of pdqb’s electro-cognitive beauty, “Giallactrus,” features heavier electro beats, almost with a p-funk air, with live scratching that complements the block party approach without losing the original's vibe. “Elysiaamore,” pdqb’s sonic love letter to Tangerine Dream, receives a melodic menace treatment from DJ Sotofett, transforming it into an intensified breakbeat juxtaposition with junglized B-Boy elements… again without detracting from the original's energy.

The vinyl version was cut by DJ Sotofett with optimal club sound at Manmade Mastering, Berlin.
