Parallelle & Nicolas Masseyeff - Renegade EP [Crosstown Rebels]

Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels delivers another of its useful club EPs. This time, it brings together duo Parallelle with French artist Nicolas Masseyeff. What they create together is 'Renegade', a deep, mid-tempo electronic house track with subtle synths and playful grooves. It's the occasional keys that break into the mix and bring energy as the drums continue. Adam Ten & Mita Gami remix the same track into something with more avant-garde chord sequences that dance up and down in the mix. Lastly, we find the original 'Bandidos', a lively rhythm with subtle synths that elegantly wave through the mix over those flexible beats.
