Nørbak - There's No Lesson EP [Soma]

Artur Moreira has been building a formidable catalogue of hard-hitting techno over the last few years, with albums for Axis and Warm Up last year and releases on Edit Select, Modularz, MindTrip, and Mord, amongst many other high-level accomplishments. Soma has been a great supporter of the producer’s sound, and this continues with his latest EP for Slam’s veteran institution. ‘His Reign Is Over’ showcases Moreira’s Norbak sound as finely sculpted, dynamic percussive techno, where subtlety accompanies the impact of the percussion. Reeko then delivers a remix which takes the original and transforms it into a more linear, industrial tool. The B-side belongs exclusively to Norbak, who uses the space to unleash his drum design in meticulous detail.
