Nomadic’s is the new project by James Curd and Osunlade. After years of playing back-to-back DJ sets and collaborating in the studio, they decided it was time to create something that could represent both the music they make together and the shows they perform. Their sound is a natural meeting point between deep house grooves and soulful roots, reflecting both artists' careers and their shared love for timeless dance music.

Nomadic’s first single is “Better Man.” The track was originally signed by Defected Records, but after creative differences regarding how the release should be presented, the contract was canceled. That decision gave James and Osunlade the opportunity to release the music exactly as they envisioned, and now the song finds its proper home at Pronto Records. The package includes the original version along with a series of remixes from some of the most exciting names in underground house.

Dutch producer Frits Wentink delivers a remix with his unmistakable style: raw drum programming, warm analog textures, and that slightly irregular groove that has made him one of the most respected names in the European house scene. Mr Ho, co-founder of cult label Klasse Wrecks, brings his own twist with a version that nods to the energy of classic rave and electro, keeping everything firmly focused on the dance floor. Finally, Los Angeles-based duo Too Easy adds a mysterious touch, combining live instrumentation with electronic drive, showing why they are quickly positioning themselves as a project to watch.

With its history of creative independence, weighty remixers, and the credibility of two deeply respected artists at the helm, “Better Man” is both a club track and a statement of intent for what Nomadic’s represents.
