Nicholas Bicycle, also known as Nick Bike, is back on some exquisite rhythms with this release for the Chosen Spokes label. As always, he only works with pure gold, and this time he reimagines a classic 80s gem in two different versions. Already tried and tested with great success by DJs like Marky in Brazil, this 7-inch vinyl is perfect for summer sessions. "Ain't Shocka" is the first version, with vibrant claps and most of the original vocals and melodies intact over a base of funk drums. On the other hand, "Shocka King" takes a much brighter turn by incorporating melodies from another 80s disco gem by Evelyn "Champagne" King, making it even more irresistible.
