Each track makes prominent use of the celebrated Roland 909 drum machine, so they all come with powerful basslines and heavy beats.

None more so than the opening track File 1, laden with chords and a strong pushing groove. File 2 brings dreamy pads and soft-focus xylophone melodies that Roy Ayers would love, while File 3 connects with a 90s New York sound. File 4 closes with a lower-slung, dubby beat, topped with Detroit-style chords.
