Na Nich - Your Curves EP [Rhythm Büro]

Na Nich returns to his roots after a string of successful releases on acclaimed labels such as Delsin, Semantica, On Board, and Fur:ther Sessions. The Ukrainian producer’s latest EP pays homage to his foundation in broken beats and bass music, the core of his style before adopting the Na Nich alias.

Co-founder of Rhythm Buro and formerly known as Sunchase, Oleksandr Pavlenko transitioned from his decades-long career in bass music to house and techno about ten years ago. However, those early influences never truly faded. On Your Curves, Oleksandr skillfully blends his bass-centric legacy with the characteristic sonic palettes of his more recent work, merging two worlds into a coherent sound.

Side A opens with ‘Unfulfilled Expectations’, a deep roller rich in bass textures and smooth synths. This is followed by ‘Everything’, a slow track with 90s vibes, incorporating old-school vocal samples and a drum pattern reminiscent of UK garage. On Side B, ‘Rain Inside’ offers the EP’s grooviest moment, with broken beats designed for the dance floor and an intimate atmosphere, ideal for closing your eyes at 4 a.m. The EP’s namesake track, ‘Your Curves’, closes it out with a deep and melancholic atmosphere.
