Few artists have shaped their local scene in the way that Alice Moxom has under her celebrated alias Moxie. Born and raised in London, Moxie is a dance music force whose influence runs deep, from the grassroots up to global stages. Her journey spans from her teenage years digging for garage records, through dubstep sets at legendary club nights, to hosting her long-running and much-loved NTS Radio residency.

For over a decade, she has been a midweek pillar on NTS, pushing deep house, Detroit techno and everything in between that is dubby, grooving and percussive, whilst consistently giving space to artists through guest mixes and interviews with icons such as Jeff Mills, Four Tet and Or:la.

Her latest project, the Love International compilation, brings all of that experience to life. “I’d secretly been manifesting it for a while,” Moxie admits. “Love International has such a particular energy, and I wanted the compilation to reflect that – dubby, fun, euphoric, deep. It’s all the styles of music I love, brought together in harmony. Being at Love International always feels like coming home. Whether you’re dancing at Barbarellas or sharing a smile with a stranger on the dancefloor, there’s a feeling of togetherness that’s hard to describe. That’s why I chose ‘U Skladu’ for the cover – because that’s what it feels like, in harmony.”
