After a series of emotion-laden hits – 'Hi', 'Mantra' and 'Gira' – German duo Monkey Safari had actually crafted 'Safe' long before the world changed so radically. “We produced 'Safe' as a message of togetherness, hope and love. When it was time to release it, we realized it perfectly mirrored our emotions in social isolation. Sharing emotions is one of our main motivations when producing music and DJing. Coming together, dancing together, smiling together.” As we navigated the challenging seas of the dancefloor through the summer, 'Safe' became the anthem we all looked forward to. It gave goosebumps and brought a sense of calm. At sunset, at the peak, or at sunrise, it became the soundtrack to a brighter future.
