Moniquea returns to the West Coast streets that shaped her. "Womp In My Spirit" is a direct ode to the Californian g-funk sound that has also inspired much of her previous modern funk work. This time, however, it takes the form of a rap song, co-produced by Moniquea herself and XL Middleton, who also features on the track.
